How much fuel, energy, and endurance will you need for the return trip?
Have you left enough energy in the tank to keep going?
What if the last 5 years of your life have been in preparation for the success that’s to come in the next 5? Have you set yourself up with the nourishment, supplies, and stamina you’ll need for what’s to come?
When you’re out on the trail on a very hot, long, and difficult mountain bike ride, the importance of having asked these questions becomes crystal clear, and by that time, you can only hope you’ve made the right choices and decisions to make it home safely.
Life is a lot like that ride… though you’re never stuck… you never know what day 1 is, or where the halfway point is. The most important thing you can do is act as though every day is Day 1… and set yourself up with the structure, tools, and training that will most likely give you the endurance to make the full journey without needing to change course.
